ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Originally created with oils on canvass, Young Lady With Gloves, is a painting of a charming young woman in a green dress, elegantly holding down the wide brim of her hat, with a white-gloved hand. Painted by Tamara de Lempicka (1898-1980), between 1929-1930, today it is showcased at the National Museum of Modern Art, Centre Pompidou, Paris, France. Besides portraits, Lempicka also painted figure studies, nudes, still lifes, urban scenes, and religious figures.
