NFTs (non-fungible tokens) can represent ownership in almost anything, from digital art to visual real estate. Owning the NFT-backed original file of an image is very different than simply owning an image or animation on our computer. NFTs are original digital artworks from artists with monetary value.
ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Hanging in the Kai restaurant, in London is this photograph entitled Kai Face, by U.K based photographer Miss Aniela. A close-cropped photo of a young Asian woman’s face, the artist has superimposed a collage within it. Made with hundreds of images from ancient Chinese paintings it includes flowers, animals, people and landscape. A visual history. The artist has always been drawn to Surrealism, the female form and the juxtaposition between real and manmade.
