As Noel’s art evolved and he became accomplished with his palate and use of mixed mediums, he leaned more to abstraction and portrait work. His work was and is today heavily influenced by iconic figures of the 80’s. Noel revisits photographs of these figures, he skilfully uses a limited palate of Black and white in a dynamic way applying a refreshing technique to the image with his proficient use of diamond dust.
