ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A lovely young woman gazes into a gilt mirror, the room only lit by candlelight. She blooms in a sleeveless gown, made of layers of peachy, pink silk. A kaleidoscope of delicate butterflies surrounds her in iridescent blue, soft greens and yellow. Shot in France, the butterflies were fused from a works by several late great Europe artists. British artist Miss Aniela creates avant-garde photography, from which she pulls inspiration from the past.
