ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The dragon must fly free, to do whatever it wants, whenever it wants! The divine symbol of the dragon goes back 5000 years in Chinese mythology, and stands for spirituality, wisdom and the chi energy of transformation that breathes through us. It represents the force of the yang, the masculine and virile. The dragon represents all things mysterious and inexplicable, yet at the same time creating order out of the chaos.
Shot on location at Prince Kung’s Mansion in Bejing in collaboration with Chinese couturier Guo Pei, this new piece of 2022 from Miss Aniela brings high production into high imagination. Blending fashion, Chinese mythology and CGI to bring the impossible into photographic reality, ‘The Red Breath’ depicts a creature of profound symbolic meaning with immense visual grandeur.
