ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Miss Aniela’s Surreal Fashion started out at kitsch houses of East London, inspired by their wealth of eclectic props and furniture. In this fun early piece, model Sandra poses with a multi-armed clock. It was a calling to be playful, to make the viewer look twice and go beyond simplistic fashion imagery, that set the tone for Miss Aniela’s Surreal Fashion that evolved prolifically over the following years.
